“Zero IBC tanks in Oklahoma landfills.”

This is our North Star. Everything we do moves toward this single, audacious goal.

Environmental Stewardship

The IBC tote industry generates enormous waste. An estimated 2 million IBC tanks are discarded in the United States every year, many after just a single use. Each tote contains roughly 85 pounds of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic and 60 pounds of galvanized steel — materials that take hundreds of years to decompose in a landfill but can be recycled and reused almost indefinitely.

At Oklahoma IBC, we intercept these containers before they reach the waste stream. Through our closed-loop system of collection, cleaning, reconditioning, resale, and eventual material recycling, we achieve a 95%+ recovery rate. That means for every 100 IBC totes we process, at least 95 find new life — either as reconditioned containers or as raw materials for manufacturing.

Economic Accessibility

New IBC totes can cost $300 to $500 or more. For small businesses, farmers, and startups in Oklahoma, this represents a significant capital expense. Our reconditioned containers provide the same functionality at 40-60% less cost, making professional-grade bulk storage accessible to businesses of all sizes.

We also buy used IBC tanks from businesses that no longer need them, creating a secondary revenue stream for our partners while feeding our reconditioning pipeline. This two-way marketplace benefits everyone in the supply chain.

Community Impact

Based in Edmond, Oklahoma, we're proud to be part of the local business community. We create jobs in sustainable industries, partner with local organizations on environmental initiatives, and educate businesses about responsible container management.

Our ripple effect extends beyond our facility walls. When we help a ranch in western Oklahoma source affordable water storage, or assist a food manufacturer in Tulsa with FDA-compliant containers, or recycle a fleet of end-of-life totes for an OKC distributor — we're strengthening Oklahoma's economy while protecting its environment.
